We have pleasure enclosing details and samples of the latest Thermal Insulation Interlining MEIDA® a High-Performance material which is already being incorporated into garment collections from leading fashion houses, skiwear and outerwear brands and performance clothing manufacturers.

 

MEIDA® is an affordable interlining that now makes it possible to produce elegant outdoor garments providing the best possible thermal insulation in cold weather, whilst allowing the body to breath during mild winters. When incorporated into garments, MEIDA® provides enhanced thermal insulation compared to other insulation waddings and materials, but more important  - it costs less!

 

MEIDA® guarantees performance and comfort  - this hard-wearing and easy-care material offers high moisture vapour permeability at an affordable price – without compromise.

MEIDA® High-Tech Thermo-Insulation

  • MEIDA® is extremely soft and has unique drape qualities;
  • MEIDA® is a high-insulating and non-allergic product;
  • MEIDA® is breathable and moisture-resistant.
  • MEIDA® does not produce the sweating feeling like many other artificial materials;
  • MEIDA® can be machine washed at 40ºC and ironed (up to 120ºC - 130ºC)
  • The material is made of micro fibres made of 100% polypropylene.

The specific weight of eiderdowns is 1.1, whereas polypropylene has a specific weight of only 0.9.  This means that MEIDA® is lighter than eiderdowns and is therefore also used in quilts, duvets and sleeping bags.
