Each quality can be supplied in varying weights. The weight in grams per square metre corresponds to the the quality number (eg MD80sms = 80 gsm)

Because MEIDA retains its insulating ability in damp conditions and as water absorption Is minimal, It can be easily and quickly dried therefore making it suitable for all types of Outerwear, Ski- and Sports-wear including sleeping bags and survival clothing.
